Pencalenick House is no ordinary retreat. This modernist hideaway offers all the luxuries of a five star hotel within the privacy of a magnificent private home.
Carved into the hillside and built of traditional Cornish stone, Pencalenick offers total peace and seclusion and its own private beach. It boasts an abundance of light-filled living space with double height ceilings and glass walls providing views across the water from every room.
Additional services such as a dedicated chef, a private motor yacht and skipper and a full-time house manager can be organised upon request.
The house has six bedrooms, sleeping up to 13 people. Four double bedrooms have their own luxury en-suite. There are also two smaller rooms ideal for little ones – one with two sets of bunks.
Rates from £4200 for a 3 night break
Lie in and enjoy the breathtaking view from the floor-to-ceiling windows or step out onto the terrace, which runs the length of the house, and let the sea air wake you up
Pencalenick House is a place for all seasons. You can relax
in the 40 foot reception area and read your way through the house library, enjoy a DVD on the 42” plasma screen television, or a table football match in the games room. Make the most of the sea air with a day’s sailing on Pencalenick’s private yacht with its dedicated skipper.
Or keep the kids busy with a host of activities from
canoeing and horse-riding to tennis and fishing trips –
we’ll take care of all arrangements. At Pencalenick house
we offer a range of spa treatments
Pencalenick House is hidden away in the heart of Du Maurier country on Cornwall’s south coast. It sits alone and majestic on Pont Pill creek, opposite the historic town of Fowey. The house is surrounded by open countryside, much of which is protected by the National Trust
