The restored farmhouse is set high above the north Cornish coastal path, with unrivalled views of the countryside and coastline, ranging from Tintagel to Port Isaac and the Rumps beyond.
High above the North Cornish coast, with 180 degree uninterrupted views over the sea and sunsets to die for, stands Upton Farm. It consists of two rather wonderful self-catering barns - Upton Mill (for 8 people) and Hyde Barn (for 6) –with a studio annexe for an additional 4 if needed. Next to these is Upton Farm, a farmhouse that the owners run as a prestigious B&B.
The owners have converted the two barns (Upton Mill and Hyde Barn) to a really high standard, and have considered everything a group would need, including a games room.
There’s plenty of room here for up to 18 to eat and socialise together in the very big drawing room of Upton Mill (the bigger of the two barns).
However, for a special occasion meal, party or wedding feast, you can also book the Long Room (normally Upton Farm’s games room), a fabulous big space which seats up to 50 with a kitchen attached. In this case catering facilities are available, and any overspill guests can be accommodated in the B&B farmhouse and in local self-catering cottages and B&Bs which the owners can recommend. The farm is also approved as a venue to hold Civil Weddings.
Upton Farm is a delightful, very secluded and private spot. It’s a mile to Trebarwith Strand (a sandy, rock pool beach where you can walk the dog year round) and invigorating walks along the North Cornish Coast Path are available right on the doorstep.
